DESIGN STUDIO

We work with small to mid-size brands to bring knitwear collections to life through creative direction, technical design, and the full knitwear development process from concept through production.
We stay hands-on, personal, and focused. That means fewer clients at a time, more collaboration, and better results.

We work with emerging brands building knitwear for the first time, small to mid-size teams growing an existing knit category, founders and designers looking for a thoughtful partner in the process.

From first sketch to final sample, we're with you the whole way.

THOUGHTS FROM CLIENTS & COMMUNITY

HOW WE WORK

There are three ways to work with us, depending on where you are and what you need.

Whether you’re looking for clarity before starting, support on a specific project, or a long-term knitwear partner, we’ll help you choose the right path.

STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT         SESSION

A focused strategic working session to help you make the right decisions before you commit time, budget, or energy to development.

    • You’re considering adding or expanding knitwear

    • You have ideas but not a clear plan yet

    • You want expert direction before investing in samples

    • A clear development direction

    • A written strategic summary

    • Priorities and next steps you can act on

FULL             PACKAGE DEVELOPMENT

A structured, start-to-finish development process to take a small set of knitwear styles from idea to factory-ready handoff.

Text that reads 'End-to-end development for a defined group of styles.' in a handwritten style.
    • You have a specific project to develop

    • You want a clean, professional delivery

    • You’re not looking for ongoing support, just a complete build

    • Full creative + technical development

    • Sampling and fit guidance

    • Production-ready handoff files

ONGOING       DEVELOPMENT PARTNERSHIP

A long-term partnership where Thomé Studio operates as your knitwear department, supporting strategy, development, and execution on an ongoing basis.

    • Knitwear is a core or growing category for your brand

    • You want continuity across seasons

    • You want a long-term partner, not one-off projects

    • Ongoing strategic + technical support

    • Faster, smoother development cycles

    • A coherent knitwear category over time
